ok after hours of trying to problem solve my dvd burning problems

I turn to this forum as my last resort

I have image files(of dvd's) on my computer that I would like to put on to dvd

I have tried the following programs to do this

dvdfab
nero
alcohol 120
dvdsanta

none of these will produce a working copy for my stand alone sony dvd player

i would LOVE some help

ok let me just state that double posting is a big no-no probably get you less help from any of the seniors!!

now that the formalities are out of the way let me ask you a couple things what kind of files are the dvd images if you were to open these files (what kind of suffix do you get ie.. avi, mp2, bup, iso,)
this is very important
are you able to get a succesful burn and the disc just will not play or is there errors when trying to burn we are kinda in the dark here and most ppl will not venture to guess because they just don't have the time to play twenty questions.

if you can provide a log from nero this will help tremendously

when you reply can you tell us what kind of media (blank disc) you are burning to just what process(apps) you have tried and are wanting to use because using all of these program's with no prior knowledge will probably just confuse the lot of us.
do you have the original copy of the dvd???

Sorry about the double post

thanks for the help

the files are

easy cd creator image file
an AVI file
and some rar files that i can decompress into bin files

with the image files i get a good burn but they won't play(stand alone dvd)

with the AVI file can't burn at all
with the rar/bin files not sure what to do with them

do a google search for file conversion software. There are some free trials. I've had some software not burn files even though they were said to be "compatible". After conversion to mpeg2 they worked. good luck
