Having trouble with River Past Video Cleaner

Ok so I used River Past Video Cleaner to convert a OGM file to a AVI file. Everything went fine but there was one little problem... the OGM file sizes are 176MB, well the converted AVI file size was 9GB per file! This can't be right! What is going on?
