HELP!!!!!!! SVCD-DVD nightmare!!!

I have been trying to put two SVCDS on one DVD for 2 months now. I merge the files with TMPGEnc Plus. Then I split them to 1 m2v file and a ac3 file. I make sure both are compliant and burn to DVD all works great until the DVD gets to where the second SVCD disk would have started. The audio goes out of sync and the second half of the movie is screwed up. Can anyone helo, PLEASE!!!!!!
