I cannot connect to xbox live i got evo running i had a error 21 problem but i tried to reinstall and it worked. Can someone please tell me what my problem is. If i cant get on live can somone at leaste walk me through reinstalling.

ok i have unleashx but it might work have you herd of cold booting? its stupid and i thought i wouldnt work first turn on the xbox no game witht he power button then right away open the tray put the game in<basicly this is tricking your xbox into thinnking your loading the dashboard> and what ever game your trying to load wait untill it gets like 10 seconds into the credits for the developers<like EB games or Microsoft game studios> then turn off then turn on then it should work but be careful not to get banned.

Thanks so much i cannot not try it yet because im away but i will hopefully it works. Could you mayby tell me how to uninstall my mod i mean its great but i cant risk the chances of getting banned. ty

If you are using a softmod, then I would recommend have a hard drive that is modded and one that is unmodded. You can buy a stock hard drive on ebay and then just lock it with the locking code specific to your xbox. Then when you go to log on, just unplug the modded hard drive and plug in the unmodded drive. This is your safest bet for not getting banned. If you are too lazy to switch out hard drives all the time, they make a kit you can buy from llama.com which will allow you to hook up a swtich to switch between 2 different hard drives. Hope that helps.

the cold booting works but when i go online with a modded xbox it says to get updated and i click ok and it taked me to chiness words

im also looking to get online with a softmod so cold booting works? im not looking to get on and play matchmakeing i hate it and i wouldnt make the game suck for other people just becasue i suck at it and i dont need to cheat anyways but i would like to play modded maps in custom games since you only get banned for MM anyways if someone could im at my aim s/n shadownights23 and walk me through some stuff on cold booting since i really didnt understand what to do before that would be great
