i am looking at buying an xbox and no nothing about modding them

i ahve heard about a hdd expansion how do u do this?

do u need a modchip?

im not looking at goin on xbox live

do u need to hook up to computer for anything and if so how?

There's a hard way to do the HDD extension and there's an easy way. I did it the easy way by buying an Xtender at:

http://www.modchipman.com/xtender-hydra-put-hds-in-one-xbox-p-181.html

and install it. There's only 3 wires to solder and it lets you add 2 more HDDs. The other way is to to the mod yourself. Here is the guide:
