NEED HELP! DVD DRIVE DOES NOT BURN DVDs!

hi i'm using an eMachine computer and it seems like it the dvd/cd-rw drive can not burn dvd. Is there an updated some kind of software i can download to make my emachine computer burn dvds?

yes you will have to download programs so you can backup dvds
the freeware ones are dvd shrink and dvd decrypter.

a couple other programs you can use are CloneDVD2 ,Intervideo DVDCopy3 ,One Click but with theses programs you will need to run anydvd in the background.

you can download theses and try them as a free trial heres some links and gudies to use them.

I had this problem before, I tried for ages to burn a dvd on the wifes e-machine, after about an hour I realised that the dvd drive is a dvd player not a dvd burner, so if you have a similar machine the the answer in no, there is no software to download to turn the driver into a burner.

I have an emachine laptop, 500 series and it came with a combo drive which does not burn DVD's. I solved the problem by buying an external.
