i can't format my philips dvd+rw's anymore...
There has never been n-e-thing wrong with my dvd+rw driver, but since 2 months, it keeps saying "Illegal Disc"
This problem occurs with EVERY dvd+rw from the stores now (and NO, i dont buy them at a supermarket, I buy the same dvd+rw's that always worked, until now :S)
I shall add my logfile without SN, but the weird thing is, that my OLD dvd+rw's keep on working, i can overburn anything i want, again and again...
My dvdrom is a SONY DVD+-RW DW-U10A
I called philips, they didnt know, i called sony they didnt know, and i even called microsoft, and hell they didnt know either...
Pleaz ANY advice is welcome, :)
grtz
Vincent

@Fzero -
Quote: Recorder: <SONY DVD RW DW-U10A> Version: 1.1c
- latest firmware 1.1e is here - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1504 - however even 1.1e is 2yrs old! so it's gonna have a nightmare (ie complete nightmare) recognising new discs

- free up more memory ie close down more programs
Quote: Write : TRUE
Finalize CD : FALSE
Multisession : TRUE
Multisession type: : Start multisession
- you intending on doing multisession; just an observation
Quote: Illegal disc
- splat!

- do you use InCD (packet writing software) as it interferes with standard Nero. if you don't use it, uninstall Nero, uninstall completely via Nero's clean tools then install Nero WITHOUT installing inCD
