I have had my version 1 PS2 since day one and have been using a swap disk to play my backups for a long time as well with out a problem until the PS2 finally gave out reading any type of disks origional or backups. To avoid any annoyances to try and fix it I just decided to buy a brand new PS2. To my surprise the lid is a flip type and know there has to be a way or a guide to still use my swap disks. I really dont want to buy anymore utilities like a flip top cover or anything but will have to if need be. I have searched the forums here and cant find any definative answers or a guide of any sort. Was hoping someone will please give me a hand. Thank you in advance. BTW I have version 3.1?? for swap disks.

Hi Beanbaoy07... well just buy the latest Swapdiscs see at http://www.swapmagic3.com/ I am using it as well and it works outstanding! There are several versions though but I also have a slim line PS2 and bought SwapMagic3 discs ( version 3.6 I believe ) with 2 plastic tools which you have to install only once. Within 10 minutes you can play your back up games. Dont need to open your PStwo, just insert 2 little plastics. Have a look at the internet and Im sure you will find more info. I got mine from http://www.slidecard.nl Its Dutch so if you are not from Holland it might be Chinese to you :) but just click here and there and see how it looks like.
