No DVD menu?

When I burn dvds using an online guide, everything copies fine, but when i play the movie, the menu dissapears. It doesnt play in my laptop dvd player and only plays in 1 out of 10 of the dvd players i can try, and doesnt work in ps2...i am using verbatron. I also used maxell, no luck. What am I doing wrong? I made ifo/vob files with ifoedit and burnt them with nero, movies plays but theres no menu? help?

thats correct it wont play the menu as you have created a new set of ifo for it with ifoedit and it doesnt do menus , it only does movie only , thats why it plays only the movie , secondly , did you select get vts sectors after it ,(just to be sure ) and thirdly did you try it with the ifoedit dvd player prior to burning and did you create an image prior to burning aswell , these some of the variables that come into play , happy burning :0)
