What sw. does random effects like Win Media Player's window ?

I'm looking for a software that that simulates the effect in windows media player's window, the randomed effect that is random colors amd forms (patterns).
I know there is such a software on the market, something about mathematics....don't remember :(
I'll be very thankful for any help :)
