just a quick one, i have swap magic 3.6 and both discs work like a charm no problems, my neighbour has swap magic 3.6 the dvd boot disc works fine for him but cd boot disc does not boot up the disc is not faulty as it works in mine, he has asked my advice and the only thing i could think to tell him was to clean his lens, could anyone else think what the problem could be, if so any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks in advance for any help

Well 1st of all can he boot any other cd game (a.k.a blue bottom discs)? Cause I had the same problem, my PS2 stoped reading cd media. You have to open the console and mess with a white gear until you hear the laser drop back in place. Im not for sure where I found the turtorial to do this but just search its not hard to find, or some of these other nice folks will post a link for ya.
