I'm having problems with my messiah 2 modded ps2 and wondering if it's still salvageable. I had the modded ps2 in working order for a couple of months and then all of a sudden it stopped being responsive. the light would show and when I pop in a disk, I would get the "please insert the playstation 2 disk." when I reset it, I would get a black screen and wouldn't be able to use the eject button anymore until I leave the unit off for a good period. help!

yep ive had many problems with mine too for the first time ive put a R1 DVD in at it just makes clicking noises and yet nothing happens. But when i got my ps2 back from 'divineo' it had the same problem as yours, i was constantly trying to boot it up but only one gerrn light (power light) came on and a blank screen. i was continusly switching it on and of for ages! but it did boot up eventually but wont play my Reagon 1 dvd's GRRR! havent yet tryed an import game but hope to soon. if that doesnt work i will NOT BE IMPRESSED! Best thing to use is 'Swap magic' its a bit annoying at first useing a special card but once you got the hang of it it does everything! :D but fingers crossed i wont need it. Oh one more thing i got my ps2 repaired at a pace called the computer kiosk in the UK. hope that helps you mate.
