no sound before encoding with tmpgenc 3.0 xpress

alright well when i add a clip in the "set source" part of tmpgenc xpress it comes up as being 2h 13mins and 57 secs yet the clip is only 43 mins and 28 secs sop i went back and re-added the clip and noticed that under video source it is 43 mins 28 secs but under audio source it is 2h 13mins and 57sec. I then added the clip and went to edit and clicked play and it plays without sound. i have 12 clips i wanted to encode together and they all do this same thing...do i have to extract the audio first or somethin? heres what it says under avi codec

Video : 354 MB, 1139 Kbps, 23.976 fps, 640*464 (4:3), DIVX = OpenDivx v4, Supported
