Okay I'm getting very frustrated, I have found out how to make permanent subtitles, no probs!
But I really need help with muxing subs into Avi files.

I've tried:
AviMux Gui, but my PC crashes.
SubMux, but the files get insanely large.
And finally VirtualDubMod, when i tried it on my standalone player with DivX support, the DVD had big problems playing the avi file and there were no subs either.

Any help will be appreciated!
