i just got a Maxtor hard drive for my ps2 and i need to know which is better...... HD Loader or HD Advance. thanx

HD Loader from what i hear, but they are pretty much the same program. HD Advanced is just an HD Loader knock off.
I would check out each one and see which one has the highest game compatibility rates
