Power/Eject ribbon unplugged!

I had to open up my ps2, and that little ribbon from the power/eject button to the ps2 came out when i accidentally dropped the top... it doesn't look ripped, but what do i do? how do i fix it?

Happened to me in the past... Its a real easy fix.. there are two screws near the memory card/controller ports.. remove them. this will remove the bottom shell of the ps2.. on the right side of the ps2 is a small port to plug the ribbon in to ( its silver with gold teeth )

i tried forever to plug it back in but it just won't stay. do i just need to force it in a bit more or what?
what do i do with the blue insert? maybe i should tape/glue the blue thing back to the ribbon?

Use A lil Force, That Blue Tab should stick out, (should only go in one way) I would not glue it.. May mess it up

save your money and get one. It will be worth it if you get the right chip (DMS4 Pro, DMS4 Lite, Matrix Infinity)
You can get them for about $265 now.

I have a slim PSTwo with DMS4 Pro chip, Summone laser fix and love it. No more Swapping, patching, rebuilding or any of that crap.
