1: If I burn a DVD Movie using avi, wmv, mpg, etc file types, can a ps2 read them?

2: If I burn a DVD Movie using avi, wmv, mpg, etc file types, can a dvd player read them?

3: Do I have to combine all the files into one movie file?

4: What type of DVD disc (DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW) should I use so it would work on both a ps2 and DVD player?

5: What's a good program to create menus for files on a personal DVD? If answer for #3 is YES, would I have to make it go to a certain time/part on the video file to change to a different scene? If answer for #3 is NO, can I make the menu choose to go to each video file?

no dont think so, they need to be dvd format.

some can you need to check the specs on the makers website of the player

for the most part yes for more comaptibility, but can play one after the other if separate and the player supports it

again down to specs of the players!

i use tmpgenc dvd author to make menus, it will add chapter pionts to.
