hi i would like some advice of you guys,
i have a chipped ps2 and want to play online gaming but connectin to the DNAS fails so i want tol earn about patching !
will somebody please help me step by step on how to do this ?

i see that your 2nd post is only 45 minutes after the first post. you should learn to have patience. sometimes people dont check AD everyday. sometimes people dont have the answers. but the best thing you could do for yourself is to SEARCH the forums, and READ different threads. you might find the answers to your questions. but as for me, i dont know anything about what you need. i'd look for it first. you never know how easily you'd find the answer if you just take time to search for it.

ok i have the tools to do this but when i use DVD Decrypter and put the image to the desktop and use windip to apply the patch it gives me an error !! i made the image from a chipped game ! does the game have to be original in order to apply the patch ??

what game(s) are you trying to patch? i dont know if winhiip can path any/all games. i have only tried with one game, and it had already been patched so i couldnt repatch it.

im trying to patch tiger woods 2005 with windip but it gives the error ?? but i dont no if this is because the games are copied and im not making the image from an original

for playing online yes, you'll NEED to patch it, but you have to have the right DNAS code for it to play online. i think you should still be able to patch copies. but i dont think winhiip will patch it the way it is. you may have to extract it to the pc first, and then apply the patch, then load it back to ps2 hdd with winhiip.

i dont understand please will u go through that step by step and i have winDIP not winhiip ! and i can get the codes thats not a problem ! the problem occcurs when trying to appl the patch using winDIP

at the end of it all, i cannot help you with what you're trying to do. if you want to play your backups online, you need the correct dnas patch to make the game work. i dont play online, so i dont know anything about that.
i have never heard of winDIP, so i can't help you. if there is another dnas patching method, then you might need to look for that, because i dont want to tell you to give up on the online play aspect of the games.

ok anyaway thnx for your help i jus hope more ppl contribute to this ! patching the DNAS has been covered several times but has been explained in different ways !
all i need is a step by step tutorial on how to do it ! i can get most of the software ! i have no origian l games but jus copied games ! please help ppl

I have heard mix answers on this subject. Once I heard that you can't play online with a chipped PS2, because the dnas detects the chip not the game with certain games or something of the sort.

i jus recently borrowed a legit real game from a freind and i went online without turning my modchip off and i got pass the DNAS authentication and his game was PAL
