i recently tryed to back up a dvd using the decrypter. I burned it onto my comp and everything was going well. i put in my blank dvd disc, but when i went to the "destination" part it had something about a "CD-R" in it. It wouldn't allow me to change it to dvd so i couldn't do ne thing. I then put a blank cd-r into my compact disc drive(which ever drive that is on a regular computer, CDEF? i don't know), but ne way it read that i had a CD-R in that drive and then i had the option of burning the dvd. Obvisouly i didn't actually burn it onto the CD-R because 2.4gb wont fit onto a 700mb CD-R. i was just wondering if im doing ne thing wrong because i followed the guide on this site and i ran into a problem^. any help?

What is the make/model of your drive?
Also what brand/type of media are you using?

I did a web search on your computer. It has a DVD-ROM drive and a CD writer. It has no DVD burner (unless you upgraded). It will play DVDs, but not burn them.

Yeah I did a search also and came up with it could have came with a phillips DVD burner but as Stan has stated unless you asked for this upgrade it probably didn't come with a DVD burner. Go into your device manager and see what it says you have for drives and let us know?
