Choice DVD-R 1x and Bulkpaq DVD-R 1x have worked so far fine, 75 burned, all worked. Pioneer 454 is just slightly picky with one thing -- I've noticed that you need to burn in DVD UDF format, using UDF 1.02, to get the discs accurately working. (most of the burning guides suggest DVD ISO/UDF format, which is preferred for most players, but not with 454).

I burn my discs with Pioneer A05.

I've used latest Nero for burning, with the settings I mentioned earlier. Haven't tried any RWs on the 454 yet.

I tried nero again burning at UDF 1.02 and the DVDRW worked fine, i just need a decent uk supplier now for bulk lot and good postage rates.

also ive seen lots of complaints abuot bulkpaq on these and other forums,

but i checked one i got as a test from my local computer shop and the nero cdspeed test showed it as a TDK and form my experience they are pretty good media, is this common that bulqpak are just rebranded TDK?

and whats the difference between green and purple top?

TIA

YOSH!

Some good UK suppliers:

http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/
http://www.digitalpromo.co.uk/
http://www.cd-rmedia.co.uk/
http://www.lynxdv.co.uk/

And there are lots of horror stories of Bulkpaqs, yep. I've been very happy with Choice and I'll stick with it, but now none of the suppliers seemed to have 2x Choice in their stocks.
