Its usually in the format of 23/43 (2)

The first number is the number of sources available
The second number is the total sources available
The third number is the number of sources ur dl from.

In future RTFM ! http://emule-project.com

The first number means those of whome you've connected to and you may be downloading from them or on queue. the second number is the total people that they've found with the file.; Now if you keep getting the same number like 300 or 400 usually then that means you have your max sources set to 300 or 400, in that case click preference - connection, and change max sources per file!

Well if you have a good fast connection, raise it and if you have a slower connection drop it!

Depends on your dsl download speed. I have a 1mbit down and i have my sources limit to 600 and i have no problems. For around 512kbs maybe you should leave it!
