Using Alcohol 120, getting disc read error while trying to make image (gets to around 47% done).

Disc is scratched but plays fine in the PS2 (though I'm only a 1/3 of the way through the game, it could start freezing any time now).

Any special techniques for backing up this game? If not I'll just take the disc to blockbuster and get them to put it through the elcectric game doctor like thing.

try the blockbuster thing first better chance of that working than anyything
