im lookin at the installation instructions rit now... and.. my board is WAYYY different than the one they show in the installation..

i took some picturs of my PS2 board with my phone...

where i put the chip

*EDIT* had the wrong link it there.. i uploadd the wrong image to my server... fixed now
i dont know where to solder or nothing.... cuz miness totally different.. im soo damn confused... and why is my board so different?

I am no expert but I do know that version 4's have either a gap or nogap bios go here to make sure what version you have firsthttp://www.mod-chip.com/en/ps2version.htm

Looks like you have the wrong install instructions for your chip that chip don't sat ma-303

yeah i kno that.. but i mean. my board is totally different.. theirs is a big rectangle with this hole in the center, mine is... a square..

yeah i was just usin that pic as an example that had a picture of the v-4 board.. the ma 303 instructions just have closeups of where to solder... http://www.raddigitaldesign.com/ud.bmp

Is it the new slim line ps2? I just looked at a picture of a version 12 mother board and it looks alot like yours

the chips on the inside all say 2000 on it

uhh.. it looks like a regular ps2... it says SCPH 30001 on the serial part..

welll the person who helped me identify my PS2 was.. WRONG.. lol.. its a V3.. when i look at the V3 instructions it all starts making sense!! ok well thanks for the help anyways
