Dump the Kypermedia - this is more than likely the source of your problem. Pick up some Sony, Fuji (look for Made in Japan) or Verbatim datalifeplus. Online from a reputable store like supermediastore.com by Taiyo Yuden or the Verbatim's.
Double Posting is when you post the same question in 2 or more thread -so your fine.
Oh and btw Welcome to AD!

binkie is giving you good advice Khypermedia is really not that good, buying better media should help you. Also, check out the make/model of your burner and make sure your firmware is up to date on it. You can do this by opening DVD Decrypter then the tools tab, drive and capabilites. You can then go to this page and check out your burner and the current firmware.

Stay away from HP discs also - another quality name for some things but not blank media. They've been know to use CMC - the worst.
Follow arniebear's advice on the firmware. I would id those verbatims thru decrypter, Nero or dvd indentifer and post back the manufacturer. Verbatim is good media.
Here's link for dvd indentifier:

Always someone here to help.
Stick around!

Use that free proggy that binkie7 gave you the link to and tell us the manufacturer and ID of your verbatum discs. You might as well give us the manufacturer and ID of the other brands of media you have as well. I'm very suprised you had a problem with the verbatums. Let us know those manufactures and ID's so we can get things ironed out for ya.

I've had extremely good luck with both Maxell and Verbatim discs. A brand to avoid would be Memorex as a spindle of 25 i maybe got 14 good ones..you learn from your mistakes.
