I'm sorry if this has been asked alredy but, I just bought a modded xbox from a friend of mine but I want to install a 120 GB HD on it. There is a Xenium Ice chip in it and he has the EvoX dashboard on it.
Ive checked all over the boards but now Im just trying to look for straight and simple answers. Pretty much a "for dummies" guide on installing it without a hitch. So all I'm asking for is a guide or a list of the software and if at all possible the steps I need to take.
Also is it possible to use a 7200 RPM HD or just a 5400 RPM HD?
Ive never used Torrent or IRC before. I just read your guide in your sig. After I set everything up do I need a specific channel to look for the slayer installer?
go to packetnews.com and search for slayers, if it's listed just click on the packet number and it will open your IRC client and connect you to that network and channel, then all you have to do is right click and hit paste in the text box. you should either get the file on it's way or a messege telling you that you are in que to get it. I'm at work now but if you come to our IRC channel (in my sig) someone will help you from there, or i can send you slayers later on when i get home.
okay yea that would work. Im at work now too so i wouldnt be able to do anything yet. But yea if you can send it to me later that would be great. Do you need any info from me or are you going to send it through the IRC?
