Not sure to be honest, but that is a pretty high seat belt ticket are you sure it was just for the seat belt.Seat belt tickets where I am located are $25 dollars a piece, did you have other people in the car with you that where not wearing there seat belts.Gotta hate that though a seat belt ticket, screw ball cops trying to get there quota.

Im out in California and they used to be $23 but with the stupid Click-it or ticket campaign they raised it to $97. I went to pay it off and they lady said it was $97 so I said screwed that so now I have to go to court to hopefully get it reduced.

Ouch I see what you mean now, sorry I can't think of anything to say at the moment probably would take me awhile to come up with something that might be able to pass.I do agree with you though $97 dollars is very high on a seat belt ticket.

i wouldn't say anything, not that it would matter. more than likely you'll just piss off the judge and end up paying twice as much. just pay the damn ticket and wear your seatbelt. but then again i suppose it is your god given american right to fly thru your windshield if you want to!

I wasn't trying to go through the windshield, I just fell asleep and forgot to put it on.

i dont see how you could really fight a seatbelt ticket without having a medical reason not to wear one. the law says you have to wear it and either you were or weren't.
