DVD RIPPING HELP

hey everyone,
i have No1 dvd ripper and when i rip dvds they are always bad quality, i use divx codec and my mate has the same prog yet his rips to avi perfectly. do any of u have any idea why it wont rip in good avi quality, i dont mind trying another dvd ripping program if you think theres a better one out there. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it happen to the same DVD? I also recommend imTOO dvd ripper.

I bought ICopy DVDs 2 and downloaded the DVD43free. Everything works until when it tells me to put in a blank DVD. I put in the blank disc and an error message comes up saying check logs. So I got on the web to see what answers can I find and I ended up downloading SmartRipper because a friend said he uses it and it's good I just can't figure out how to back up my DVDs

Use DVD Shrink with DVD Decrypter. Read around this form...great stuff.
