Just a Question about backing up PS2 games...

i was wondering if anybody can tell me the procedure on how to go about burning a ps2 game, that had been downloaded? Would I just have to turn all the files into an image file, or what if its already an iso file, how would i tell? Is it the same procedure as if you are burning from the original game?

and yes i have checked previous posts related to this topic, but unfortunately i did not get any direct answer as because most of the topics discuss backing up ps2 games from the original.

If it is anlready an ISO file you just burn that file to a DVD
If not you will most likely need WinRAR, a free program for extraction the ISO out of what you downloaded.
You will normally get a series of files like game.001,game.002,game.003
you would right click on the first numbered file (game.001) and choose extract, WinRAR will then extract the ISO file out of it and then you can burn the ISO
There are so many if ands and buts to downloaded files i would not expect to know everything about it for quite a while. half of them you can not even tell what format (NTSC or PAL) you are downloading.
Such a hassle.
