I have a problem with burning backup DVDs using my PC.

I am using DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, and Nero to backup DVDs. What I don't understand is that I have all programs configured the same way (as far as I know) and I do exactly the same thing, but DVDs burned in my Laptop does work on my standalone DVD player, and DVDs burned in PC doesn't.

There are no errors during burning process, but when I put the disc in the DVD player, it reads "no disc." I am totally stumped. I have tried to burn in different ways, including changing configuration in diferent programs and using different modes, but none of it seem to matter. Could it be the actual drives? I will wait for everyone's wisdom.
