hey i was thinking of modding my ps2 and was wondering if any one could suggest a good chip or other device. i was thinking of swap magic, comments?

I think matrix infinity is a good mod i have it to and wrks great make sure u dont get a fake 1

its about 50-60 US
Its very easy to install because theres only 18 wires

so whats so great with mod chips when you can get a boot disk called boot magic i think for hal that price. i was just wondering cuz i think i might get that instead of a mod chip unless a mod chip does something that the boot disk cant.

really? ive never heard of that but that is the main reson that i dont get a mod chip. ive been told if you dont install it JUST right it can fry the mother board and then warm up and start on fire then burn your house down but dont worrie you get out the house just in time to see the government come to steal your sanity. :) okay maybe that was a lil overwhelming but still i heard it can mess up the system board.

we dont have any stores taht installs mod chips around here i dont think and if i want to send it in it will cost like $150+. thats crazy expensive. fir that i can pretty much buy 3 games
