Lets say that I have a movie in the Windows Media Player format. When I double click on the movie, it plays in the Windows Media Player. I would like to know how to take the video and put it onto a single DVD+R disc. What program should I use and what steps should I take into using this program.

You can try this program VSO DivXtoDVD v0.5.2b (Freeware). You can it download right off this site in the software section. I've used it on my old T&J cartoons and cannot complain.
