alright ive been using memory card exploits to play burned games...i have been using cogswap since january...i use any of the 4 ff9 ps1 discs to load the exploit but the problem is my ps2 half the time has a disc read error when i try to load up the ps1 games and other times it doesnt have a disc read error but when i load the game i just see a black screen as normal but it stays at that screen for about 2 minutes and then goes back to the normal ps2 start-up screen...it does this with all my ff9 discs and have no other ps1 games to try...ive even turned my ps2 upside down cause my friend does that to load blue backed games...so any recemendations? also if i have to buy a new ps2 should i just get a slimline and swap magic cause i dont want my 50+ burned games to sit there and rot...thanks

Just buy a swapMagic and use with you r current PS2.
