Help Using WinAVI Converter

I have been trying to covert a mpg file and it always stops during the conversion process at 42%. I don't know what or if im doing something wrong. Any Sugesstions?

Are you trying to convert to DVD format?

Maybe your file is corrupted. Have you tried using other encoder software like VSO DivXtoDVD or TMPGEnc?

I have a similar problem too. I tried converting tv episodes that are DivX. Many of them work but this one file keeps stopping at 68%. It works in DivXtoDVD but I would prefer to fix this problem but continue to use the program!

Perhaps the file is corrupted. When something like that happens to me I use several programs in order to overcome the difficulty: VSODivxtoDVd, WinAVI, Canopus, Mainconcept, AVI2DVD and/or The Film Machine...
