I have a V6 modded with a Magic 3.6 mod chip. I was playing games and the machine was working fine as it has since I modded it 2 years ago. I switched discs to begin playing a new game and now all I get is a black screen upon bootup, no sound or nothing. I opened up the machine to check connections and such and everything looked fine. When I put it back together, the screen would come up but not read discs, which I eventually figured out had to do with me not plugging the drive back into the motherboard (stupid). When I fixed this problem, the original problem reoccured. Does this have to do with a bad laser or bad drive? Any help would be appreciated.
