Ever since I tried to burn a copy of Casablanca, my program has not been able to read an entire DVD without going into a reboot or just sending me some error messege. I even deleted the program and reinstalled it. Is it possible the movie installed some coruption code into my PC?

I doubt it this is an old movie, with no special protection. Check and make sure your DMA settings did not get changed.

First of all I am using DVD Xcopy on a Windows 2000 computer. I think the instructions you left were for XP, am I right?

Operating system is irrelevant - Win 2000 works fine with DVD's/rips.

Would suspect you have heat or spyware related problems that are causing your PC to reboot.
