U can mod them, but you cannot play them online w/out getting banned instantly. The only maps that you could play customized on Xbox Live were the newer ones that have been downloaded to the Xbox HD.

Hopefully you know that cheating on Xbox Live has been mostly stopped due to the last update from Bungie.

There is a way to get the old maps into mm, but that has not been reveiled yet (or at least to my knowledge). The hackers the figured it out tried to cut a deal w/ bungie to fix it or something but bungie offered nothing so they said f* u. So, more than likely we will see it around somewhere. But there are ways to mod the old maps, just not for mm. You would have to put the whole game onto your xbox and then mod the maps from your maps folder, etc. But why do you care so much to cheat? Does your number next to your name mean something to you? To me, it means whether you have a lot of time to waste. Since all the best ones know the game front to back. they know when each weapon is going to spawn, they somehow know where you are giong to spawn from where they kill you and where their teammates are (I would know, I played against those top guys like k 2 tha arama whne they were first starting off their clan. yeah, we lost like 50 to 5 at lockout. But yeha, so that number means you have no life if you are actually that good. But you are just a low life that wants to cheat...so why dont you just find all the skulls and use them in sp.
