Defragging PS2 HDD?

Recently I got an HDAdvance ver 1. I have installed a few games on it just to test to see if it works and it does wonderfully. I have also erased some of my games off. Right now I have about 7 games (about 20 gigs) loaded onto my PS2 HDD as well as some of my other various saves from ESPN football and other stuff...however...I think I am missing about 10 to 15 gigs worth of space.
Is there a tool that allows for defragging of a PS2 drive without reformatting it and losing my games? Is there a tool on the Utility disk that assists with this? Please help
