these SUCK~! stay away...the name ALONE should tell you something...Dupe-sonic~ :) they basically DUPE (copy) the GOOD media IDs and sell their CRAP media...for this one that you linked in particular...they didn't even go as far as doing THAT~
Dupsonic DVD-R 4.7GB VANGUARD.... 4x
for the 8x DVD-R, they COPIED the Taiyo Yuden TYG02 coding.
for the 8x DVD+R, they COPIED the Mitsubishi Chemicals MCC coding.
what a bunch of crap~ bet you these are made in taiwan (easiest indication that they are NOT genuine Taiyo Yudens for the DVD-R format~ AUTHENTIC TYs are ONLY MADE IN JAPAN)
don't know about the legitimacy of the MCC003 coding that is also on my AUTHENTIC Verbatims..but, my money is on that those are FAKE too~
save yourself the headache, the FACT that they are using the TYG02 coding on media MADE IN TAIWAN should be a dead giveaway as to the reputability of this company...might as well go get some memosux media, as these are on par with CMC MAG crap~

prodisc, while i STILL consider them 2nd or 3rd tier media, DEFINITELY NOT on the same level as Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim, but MUCH better than the dupsonics ~ :)
everyone appreciates a good deal when buying blank media, but don't sell yourself short when choosing, as it will come back and bite u in the butt later when they don't burn properly or do not play down the road~ it's YOUR hard earned money, don't waste it on mediocre or cheap media~ that is the only suggestion i hope you will read from this...

Thanks,,,normally I've bee using the verbatim 8x and ritek 8x both are inkjet hub printable.I found a site where I get 50 ritek inkjet hub for $21 which is good..

never purchased from that company before, so i don't know..but, that link showed GENUINE Taiyo Yudens..and the pricing is fairly accurate~ you "SHOULD" be ok with those~ :)
if you decide to get the TYS...let me know as to what the inner hub coding is if you decide to purchase them...i can verify their authenticity for you at that point~ :)

look carefully, the brand name is "HIGH QUALITY"...many have mistaken it as an adjective to describe Taiyo Yuden discs...when in fact, the brand name is "HIGH QUALITY" and as such is deceiving to those looking for GENUINE TYs~
i am willing to bet THOSE are made in taiwan...there are NO genuine TYs made in taiwan, that is the easiest way to tell~ :)
also, the pricing is reasonable IF you are on a budget, you will never see white inkjet printables for $0.30 for REAL Taiyo Yudens...the real ones are approximately DOUBLE that price...$0.60-$0.70/disc depending on where you purchase them or if they are on sale~

supermediastore.com~ i purchase about 90% of my media from there...and rima.com or meritline.com or newegg.com if they have sales at the time~ but when looking for Taiyo Yudens, please read the description CAREFULLY, as meritline had those "high quality" dvds in the Taiyo Yuden section..it's very misleading~ :) good luck

I have been using these for quite awhile and there not to bad. I have over 130 movies on them and they seem to be doing fine for me. I have had only a few coasters.
