SATA Drives and V12 (DMS4 + HD Connect) Compatibility

I have a few spare SATA drives laying around I'd like to use on my V12 (DMS4 + HD Connect). Anyone know if the V12 will recognize the drives if I use a SATA to IDE adapter? :)

i heard hdconnect + ide drives work fine...not sure since i dont use hdds

I purchased a $25 adapter from Addonics that allows your SATA hard disks to be plugged into an IDE interface. It works! My SATA 80GB Hitachi Deskstar (7200 rpm, 8mb cache) is working just fine on my V12 PS2.

I haven't seen anything posted about this out here, so I figured you'd all like to know.
