@jin: i've heard of a DS emu, but not for the ps2.
VCD on my ps2. it was on cdrw, and that didnt work. it could be the version of the ps2 as well. i have a v7 and that's all i have to work with, so it's hard to say.

CD-RW's will work on some PS2's - not all - but they will strain laser a lot so it might be better to stay using CD-R's.
