I think having it in ur "My Account" Page is fine. This could also could b a matter of choice of if u wish to let others know of how many post u have done. Plus there are like a bunch of threads that people start saying "How many Post have you created" or "This my 500th post" Etc... soo for me no biggie :)

No... I was just wondering... no need to create a competition...
I've seen forums where people post bs just to reach a predetermined figure and change rank (like they would get candy for it * lol * )

like borhan said, i dont think there is any need for this. quality of posts is always better than quantity. you should just leave this posting count subject, it's for the better, we've had enough arguing over this subject.
no harsh words meant :)

That's how it should be for all members. Some newer members may be satisfied with posting counts and ranks but later you realize the essence/reason of being an Afterdawn member, helping others. It's quality not quantity, I'm glad you realize that killerc.

- i hear ya. i just do lots of helping, and due to one of my mum's phrases when i was growing up - "make your journey useful", apart from applying that to most things in life, when it comes to posting, i always browse thru some of the forums in a sitting and attack a few posts at a time.
To me it's no different than say ordering blank dvd's. it's no use just ordering one tubs of disks, so i always order shedloads in one go.
I just like helping, i'm not one for areas such as the safety valve for instance, i do a lot of dvd burning so that's what i offer help with, along with Nero stuff and dvd media.

In addition to that I would call it well-invested time.
