PS2 Memory corrupt file

We are trying to save LordOfTheRings but it complains about a corrupt file that we can't get rid of. I have tried from the browser menu and from the game itself to no avail. Any idea of how to zap one corrupt file on the memory card?

What, u cant delete it from the browser. Thats weird. You sure u did it right? Anyway it probably got corrupted because you probably have too many save games on your memory card.

Yes, amongst all other saved games there exists a "corrupt block" which I cannot delete, either from the browser or from the LordOfTheRings game itself.

the only way to get rid of corrupt data is to re-format your memcard entirely.

You may also be able to erase to corrupt file with Keylaunchers browser without formating the whole memcard.
