I have a european model gamecube with a qoob pro chip. I have problems with some (not all) Japanese games. The games load and play fine, but instead of a Japanese font I get rubbish characters. I'm having trouble with Chibi Robo and Shikigami No Shiro 2 in particular.

Is there any way that I can run these games with proper Japanese fonts?

have your tried maybe checking under the Qoob Pro configurations? Maybe the GC video mode needs to be changed? Just an idea, I have to change my video mode to play some games as if I don't they come out all blury.
