Having a problem with ps2 reading double layer games...

well i have a version 4 ps2...and for some reason it has problems running gran turismo 4, and god of war..and i know that both these games are double layer dvd's...so it must have some problem running double layer dvd games..anyway, i was wondering there is anyway to get around this problem..i've already cleaned the lens a lot of times, but that's not helping...

anybody have other suggestions?

Your playstation cannot read double layer disc. That's why there are patches and rebuild in this forum to bypass it. For further information go to PS2 DVD Backup Discussion.
