Would a RETAIL Codebreaker v9.1 work on a modded ps2? I have a Magic V mod, and last time I checked it didn't work with v7-8...

I know only the modchip's that can run firmware update can get the cb9.1 backup to work...but those were all copies of cbv7-9.1...if I bought the real thing (RETAIL) would it run fine? Can anybody confirm?

I've heard that some ppl say v8.1 RETAIL works on a modded ps2 (he had a magic V too).
