I am about to buy a premodded slim ps2 with dms4 pro,laser fix,hd connect, which I have been thinking about for awhile and reading alot.My ?s are whats the biggest hd I can hook to it?(Ive heard of up to 500gigs and also no more than 160).Also the hd has to be ide right?(no sata).Last is there a prefered brand to go with?Money is not the issue as i am willing to spend around 600.Thanks for any help and info in advanced.

Most i have seen people using is 120 and yes IDE
and Maxtor seems to be a good brand.
I have a slim with DMS4 Pro myself and love it.
But how are you hooking up your hard drive, USB external drive?

No I was gonna get the hd connect mod when I got the rest done.The site I found has it all for around $350 that should be everything except the hd.I was going to get one of the off of fleabay.Possibly a 400 if it would work.Thanks
