I got a 160gig maxtor hdd for my xbox and would like to know if it is possible to format the HDD on my computer for the PS2. I need to know if it is possible to set it up to boot an alternate dashboard that I could FTP to and use without having to go through the trouble of using swap magic. Please help, I'm very new to this...

if its just changing the dashboard...no not possible....because the dashboard info isnt on the hdd because the ps2 doesnt have a hdd....plus the only way to have a new "dashboard" is to flash a modchip (dms4 pro, the only one i no about) so it boots up using the info on the chips memory
