I'm not sure if the problem is with DVD shrink or Nero but when i try to burn a DVD after its completed shrinking it will stop @ writting lead in and the disk keeps making clicking noises. When it does work i often get DVDs that r only burnt so far n then they end!! Did Ne one else have this problme and do they know witch program is screwed up??and how to fix it!! i tried uninstalling and reinstalling a bunch of times but that dont seem to work!! so i could reeally use some help!!!!

sounds like crap media, or maybe a few other things..

for checking the media, download 'dvd identifier' from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/DVD_Identifier.htm and run a media info check on one of those media , pasting results here

O.k i havent tried that yet but now my dvd burner isn't finding the blank dvd's so i'm thinkin it might be my burner that is screwed up!!!

i take it the drive behaves itself with normal discs, ie original dvd or cd's ?. also, download Nero info-tool from here - http://www.snapfiles.com/get/neroinfo.html

Run it, click on the drive tab and note down the exact drive name and the firmware version, and paste here.

Here's what mine shows -

your burner's firmware is probably out of date and/or you're using crap discs
