Hi All,
I am having great difficulty installing the memory card exploit basically because I think I am attempting the impossible....
I had no idea about hdloader and hdadvance elfs the whole lot until one of my mates sisters husband installed hdloader onto my mates memory card to "backup" games to the HDD.
So in an attempt to replicate what he had done I copied his system configuration file from his memory card onto mine which works I can run hdloader to install and play games.....but the only problem I have is I have to use his PS1 trigger disc to run HDLOADER ...I'd imagine his TITLE.db only contains the one SLUS/SCES ID.
And I want to change it to one of my own PS1 discs, so I figured If I download the exploit create my new TITLE.db, Use CDPSGEN or whatever to create the *.iso image and copy it onto my hard drive via WinHIIP and then use his PS1 trigger disc to run HDloader from my memory card an then install the new exploit which will then recognize my PS1 trigger disc instead of his.......
I have tried and tried but each time I run the exploit I am left with a blank black screen......I have NO ACCESS to a modded PS2 or wish to mod mine and I'm not particularly interested in purchasing a copy of GAMESHARK 2.0 or AR2 to install the exploit...
If anyone has attempted any such thing or knows if it is possible or not I'd love to know....
The only other thing I could think of was that most of these tutorials to install the exploit are for NTSC consoles....living in Australia mine is PAL......Is there any differences between the exploits????
Can anyone give me any advice or point me in the direction of another exploit install for Australia????
