Hi guys,

I tried to backup GT4 but the DVD is half working :-(
In fact the backupped game is booting well, browsing through the menus is working fine, but when I choose a game to start, it is freezing. The loading indicator is turning and turning around forever in red color ...

Here is how I did the backup:

writer is LG4163B on Traxdata DL disk

Read to ISO with DVDDecrypter
Applied Toxic patch on ISO
set the booktype to: DVD-ROM
Write ISO

Does someone knows what I do wrong? I think the patching is good, because when booting, the name Toxix appears instead of PS2 ...
Maybe he's trying to read from the second layer the moment its freezing ... I don't know.
Possibly it is only a bad copy ... who knows ...
Can someone give a technical explanation for this behaviour?
The DL media are too expensive to do some more trials without knowing what I did wrong so a very good hint is more then welcome ;-)
I tried to write on X1 but it is always jumping to X2,4 ... :-(
My hardware is PS2 V10 with DMS3 chip (latest firmware)
